As a Business Development Intern you will be an integral part of the small Global Business Development team that is working on key strategic initiatives within the Taste & Wellbeing Division.

You will meaningfully contribute by gathering market insights and maintaining the competition overview. You will also support the team to drive and monitor our 2025 strategy initiatives and to update high-level team members. You will work with our Global Category Management and other teams within the T&W organization. You will be part of a growth-minded, insights-based team which is already curious to meet you.

This internship is limited to 12 months and is based in Kemptthal.

You will:

  • Assist in improving the competitive landscaping and market understanding over the food and beverage ingredients market by conducting deep dives on selected companies of interest to Givaudan as well as derive portfolio and product strategy conclusions on relevant companies.
  • Produce insight reports on selected, strategic initiatives through market analysis, landscaping and opportunity identification.
  • Support the team on different business development projects
  • Monitor the essential movements from our competitors and create our by-monthly business development newsletter

You:

  • Are currently attending or have just finished a Business Degree or similar
  • Have an interest in the fast paced world of Business Development in the Food & Beverage sector
  • Are fluent in English
  • Bring good MS Office skills (PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Are motivation to support the team in Business Development
  • Analytical skills
  • Bring a strong interest in research, in analyzing companies & markets, in projects and project management; experience in that fields is a plus
  • Are flexible and able to work on several projects simultaneously and switch priorities on a short notice basis
