About The ProjectOur mission to revolutionize process research and development through this groundbreaking project. As part of our team, you’ll help develop a cutting-edge data analysis platform for determining solubility curves, integrating greener solvents into early-stage development. By helping to replace specific solvents, you’ll play a crucial role in reducing the CO2-footprint, waste, and energy consumption, driving sustainability across the industry. This internship combines data analysis, robotics, chemistry and programming into a project that’s yours to bring to life?
  • Your job is to turn a custom-built machine that spits out lots of pictures and numbers into a robust tool which reliably measures temperature-dependent solubility of drugs and synthetic intermediates in a variety of solvents.
  • You’ll work with chemists, engineers and pharmacists to understand their needs. Then you turn around and build an application that makes them smile and their work easier
  • You’ll test until your customers are happy and you’re confident the results you produce are correct.
What are the three key achievements we expect from you
  • Develop an elegant application that transforms raw data into visually appealing solubility curves
  • Push the machine’s boundaries through rigorous experimentation
  • Engage with users to enhance system reliability, ensuring dependable and accurate results

Who You Are
  • Currently pursuing or achieved not longer than 12-month ago a Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field, with an understanding of statistics and green chemistry principles
  • Proficiency in data analysis and programming (ideally Python and Javascript), with experience in developing data-driven platforms or applications
  • Experience with Spotfire or other visualization tools is a plus
  • Passion for sustainability and a commitment to reducing the environmental impact of manufacturing processes
