ROLE OVERVIEW
IT Operations is at the heart of IT and our mission is to enable Benchlings to do their best work. We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to support and manage the applications, devices, and services we rely on. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, forward thinking, and skilled at delivering an excellent employee experience through technology. You’ll not only be tasked with curating an “It Just Works” environment, but to learn, grow and help others along their journey as well.

YOUR IMPACT
  • Provide Tier 2 helpdesk support including software, hardware, application access, AV, and networking
  • Administer a variety of SaaS applications including but not limited to Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Github, Jira, Zoom, Office365
  • Assist with the onboarding process including preparing and deploying systems, and leading our new hire orientation in a hybrid model
  • Assist with IT projects within IT Engineering including identity and access management, client platform, and AV
  • Lead multiple satellite offices across EMEA and EU
  • Manage relationships with vendors and 3rd party providers
  • Oversee inventory, purchasing, and asset management
  • Work closely with Workplace and other cross-functional teams on relevant initiatives and daily operations
  • Monitor and maintain our helpdesk service level agreements (SLAs) including first response and full resolution
  • Proven relationship skills that carry across the technical spectrum and multiple geographical locations

ABOUT YOU
  • 3+ years experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and systems in a corporate environment supporting Mac OS and Windows
  • 2+ years in building, improving and deploying IT onboarding processes
  • 2+ years handling tier 1 and tier 2 helpdesk support escalations
  • Exceptional communication skills, ability to host IT trainings in small and large group settings
  • Experience with network troubleshooting and endpoint management tools such as Jamf and Workspace one
  • Proficient in Helpdesk ticket triaging and familiar with tools such as Jira Service Desk and Zendesk Enterprise
  • Ability to troubleshoot AV systems and video conferencing systems.
  • You are motivated by helping others succeed. When things break - and they will - you are eager and able to help fix things. You like thinking of ways to improve efficiency or bring delight to the people you work with.
  • You are a technology enthusiast who is always excited to learn about new apps, devices, and ways to do things better

OUR VALUES
  • Empower through information. We explain the “why” behind every decision, unless there are highly sensitive circumstances. We’re honest about how we’re doing, especially in difficult times. We believe that sharing information builds trust and enables better decision-making.
  • Rely on tenacity. Hard work is one of the greatest factors to determine success and is fully under our control. We must make the most of every day by bringing the highest level of determination. Dreaming big is not enough.
  • Raise the bar. Pushing ourselves and others to improve will be uncomfortable and at times result in failure. However, it’s critical to our success. We’re dedicated to creating a place where everyone feels challenged to improve.
  • Build a lever. We choose to build tools and infrastructure that will help others make world-changing innovations. There’s less glory in it, but in the words of Archimedes, "Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world."
TRAVEL
  • Must be able to travel to supported office up to 25% of the time within a predetermined territory between EMEA and EU.
