Your role

Are you an engineer that can identify and mitigate gaps that occur because of the constant development of technology?
We are looking for a system engineer with knowledge on different technologies who can analyze processes, model, and implement solutions to ensure that all components and different systems work together seamlessly.
You will be helping us to:

  • work closely with product development teams to ensure that systems are designed for integration and testability
  • collaborate with data analysts/Data Scientists and business stakeholders to understand their data needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • debug and resolve technical issues related to system integration and configuration
  • automate processes and decrease manual execution of routine tasks
  • identify and mitigate technology risks and vulnerabilities
  • implement data governance and security controls to ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies and industry regulations
  • perform basic technical test on developed solutions and provide feedback
  • document systems and processes to ensure that knowledge is captured and shared
  • stay up to date with recent technologies and industry trends

Your team

In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services, fulfilling client needs and they encompass multiple autonomous (yet interlinked) pods.
You will be part of the Digital Legal Solutions team which aims at creating and delivering technology that provides seamless user experience to Group Legal employees. You will be working with a multi-cultural, collaborative global team (covering Switzerland, US, UK, Poland, and India) working closely together to deliver sustainable, global solutions for our stakeholders.

Your expertise

  • solid corporate working experience as Systems Analyst or equivalent field
  • basic Developers skills that allow you to read, understand and maintain existing source codes
  • proficiency in Linux and Microsoft environments
  • understanding of JSON storage contents
  • technical documentation preparation (nonfunctional, business, and technical requirements)
  • excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • good knowledge on Agile methodology
  • strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively
  • you are pro-active and a self-starter, willing to learn new things, challenge the status-quo and work independently
  • you are excellent in written and spoken English

Nice to have:
  • experience with Single-Sign-On (SSO) technology.
  • experience using Natural Language Processing ( NLP) and familiar with semantic search technology.
  • experience using NoSQL databases like ElasticSearch, MongoDB, CosmosDB.
  • experience with Microsoft-based cloud environments: Azure, Active Directory etc.
