Contract Manager (f/m/d)

In your role as Contract Manager within RUAG International’s Legal Team in Zurich Seebach you provide active andcomprehensive support in all contractual matters to the project teams, particularly in the Space segment, in order to ensure asmooth and successful contract execution.

Your tasks
  • Draft, review, redline, negotiate and manage a wide range of international contracts and subcontracts with institutional and private customers, mainly in the space industry
  • Proactive support of project teams in all contractual matters from proposal phase to close out of projects, including claim and change management
  • Identification and assessment of legal and commercial risks as well as identification of viable solutions for risk mitigation
  • Participation in the creation of templates, processes and training materials
  • Implementation of internal directives including compliance and risk management guidelines, as well as ensure compliance with internal processes.

Your profile
  • Degree in law or equivalent
  • Experience in contract management in the same or a similar industry
  • Sound knowledge in international contract law
  • Business fluent in English and German (written and oral), additional foreign languages are desirable
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and team-spirit, solution-oriented personality, motivated to get things accomplished successfully
  • Accurate, organized, efficient and proactive approach to work with ability to set priorities and to deliver results under time pressure
  • Strong analytical skills, negotiation skills, hands-on attitude with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Interest in international, interdisciplinary and multilingual teamwork
  • Willingness and interest to work closely with business functions and contribute directly to the group’s commercial success
