Today, several teams of highly qualified engineers research and develop signalling solutions in Wallisellen. These include solutions in the areas of automated train operation (ATO), train control system (ETCS) and driverless metro trains (CBTC). Join our team and help us shape the future of mobility!

Your tasks

  • Integration of ETCS on-board and country-specific ATP systems (e.g.:ASFA, SCMT, SHP, PZB, LZB, ATB) into rail vehicles;
  • Creation of concepts, system requirements specifications and electrical schematics for integration of ETCS/ATP system into rail vehicle;
  • Participation in static & dynamic commissioning of the ETCS/ATP systems in rail vehicle;
  • Participation in ETCS/ATP type tests in the field;
  • Preparation of evidences for authorization (e.g.: Test reports, Verification reports);
  • Interface with customers, assessors and suppliers.

Your profile

  • Education at bachelor level ETH/TU/FH in engineering (Electrical, IT or mechatronics) or comparable;
  • Knowledge of electrical schematics;
  • Open, flexible, team player, and goal-oriented personality;
  • Autonomous and proactive working method, strong problem-solving skills;
  • Knowledge of Automatic Train Protection (e.g.: ETCS, ASFA, SCMT, SHP, PZB, LZB, ATB) on-board systems is an advantage;
  • Rolling stock experience is an advantage;
  • Good knowledge of English and German; other languages are an advantage.

  • Start immediately or upon agreement
  • Flexibility to travel (25 - 50% of the working time)

  • Due to Swiss permit restrictions, applications of Non-EU/EFTA Citizens without valid work permit for Switzerland cannot be prioritized
