SMS Logistics ensures that any product, ordered anywhere in the world, arrives at our customers in time, in perfect condition, with the lowest possible impact on the environment and in compliance with all international laws and regulations – at the lowest possible cost for Sandvik Machining Solutions.

In Santrade Ltd. Switzerland, we perform financial & controlling activities for the total SMS Logistics organization. We are now looking for a talented business controller for the SMS Logistics operation, located in Lucerne, with the aim to develop into a true business partner for the SMS Divisions and distribution centers. Your mission

As part of the business controlling team within SMS Logistics, you will be working closely with the operational managers of the distribution centers and the SMS divisions supporting them in the strategy development and execution.

The role as a business controller includes the traditional roles, business and financial control. The long-term ambition is to strengthen the business controlling area. Specifically, you will drive and develop the SMS Logistics’ accounting and controlling processes, actual and forecast as well as to provide business performance analyses and commentaries to management. You will also support the consolidation of the SMS Planning process including the volume development for SMS Logistics.

In addition, you will participate in business cases and projects within the SMS Logistics finance area.

In this position, you report directly to the Business Control Manager, Saverio La Bella.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a bachelor or master’s degree in finance or business administration. You have at least six years’ experience working with controlling in a global environment.

A good understanding of financial processes, both from a local entity perspective as well as a global consolidated perspective are valuable. You are a skilled user of SAP CO, Microsoft Office and BPC or equivalent consolidation system.

As we operate in a global environment, you need excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing. In addition, German language skills are an advantage.
