We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Engineer who is driven by a good sense of cooperation and invention.
Job Description
In the role of Electronic HW engineer, you will be working with a highly motivated cross-functional R&D team, consisting of mechanical, multibody dynamics and software engineers, in order to ensure the development of a cutting edge technology, and building the company’s first industrially certified product.
Responsibilities
  • To be involved in all aspects of hardware selection processes, including mechanical, thermal, signal integrity, electrical system design.
  • Work with software engineers to co-design functional systems, finding ways to solve problems through software and hardware optimization, rather than develop independent, cross-functional systems.
  • Contribute and assist in the design and manufacturing of our first product
  • Have domain expertise in electrical and mechanical; enjoy cross-disciplinary work with a broad team of skills and experience.
  • Believe in fully documenting your ideas.
  • Enjoy reading the documentation produced by others as well as applying standards and norms from the railway industry.
  • Responsible for the technical development and industrialization of an electrohydraulic system and product, from development of the architecture through to the industrialization and product homologation.
  • Plan, implement and coordinate work packages with internal and external resources
Required Competencies
  • Systems Engineering / Computer Science / Electrical Engineering (BEng / MEng)
  • Experience within System engineering including electronics, control loops, interface with V&V and systems integration
  • Familiar with electronic SIL analysis – Safety Integrity Levels, FMEA, and RAMS analysis
  • Willingness to do software development within a regulated environment (rail industry)
Education and practical
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years Engineering experience.
  • 3+ years Circuit Analysis experience, use of oscilloscope, DMM and power supply.
  • Familiar with CAE and CAD software such as "eplan and solidworks".
  • Proficiency English, German is a plus.
