We are looking for a Procurement Managerwho sources raw materials on a regional or local level, manages the supply market in the area of responsibility, closely and actively interacts with the businesses and other stakeholders, manages suppliers, and actively participates in the performance management of the regional category.

Verantwortlichkeiten
  • Strategic Sourcing: Source raw materials in the area of responsibility, negotiate and conclude deals in accordance with delegated responsibility. Conduct market research and proactively find new suppliers and alternative sourcing concepts.
  • Monitor and analyze the market development and supply availability; forecast prices of strategic spend segments.
  • Strive for excellence in procurement and sustainable sourcing.
  • Stakeholders Engagement: Build and cultivate cross functional strategic stakeholder relationships to create value for the organisation. Identify & execute improvement potentials, challenge status quo, de-specification, bundling, demand pattern, innovation.
  • Drive projects, risk management, saving levers, reducing CO2 emissions under scope 3.
  • Create and maintain contracts, master data etc. in SAP.
  • Execute agreements with the suppliers (contracts, NDA, QNS).
Anforderungen
  • Bachelor`s/Master`s degree in Business Management or Procurement, ideally combined with chemical or engineering knowledge.
  • Professional procurement certifications (CPSM, MCIPS, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Experience in business and/or procurement positions is required.
  • Track record of managing complex portfolio in a multi-cultural matrix organisation.
  • Strong collaboration and communications skills are required for stake holders engagement to manage challenges in a very dynamic markets.
  • Ability to formulate, recommend and implement sourcing strategies and align with stakeholders.
  • Technical experience or education is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent in English - other languages are desired.
  • Proven negotiation skills and experience in contract negotiations & management.
  • Profound analytical skills and good MS-Office and SAP knowledge.
