Meggitt Fribourg’s site provides its expertise to the four strategic business units of Meggitt PLC. Meggitt Fribourg is employing 450 employees. We develops, manufactures and sells world-wide a complete range of transducers and electronic systems for the monitoring of engines, turbines and other rotating machinery in both the aerospace and energy industries.

Job Designation

To further strengthen our Quality department, we are currently looking for a part-time (50%) “Quality Management System Specialist”.

The Position

As “QMS Specialist” you will report to the Airworthiness Manager and you will mainly be accountable to animate the Quality Management System and improve it regarding international standards, National Civil Aviation Regulations, Customers and Meggitt requirements, as well as to support any BMS projects.

The Main Responsibilities For This Role Are
  • Support the QMS activities in collaboration with the Airworthiness Manager
  • Maintain the Quality Information System up to date and provide trainings to employees
  • Ensure that the Group Management’ System information is cascaded and implemented to the Fribourg site
  • Support to establish KPIs to be provided to the Headquarter
  • Support to plan and perform internal system and product audit as required (including recording audit data, preparing audit reports, etc.…)
Your Profile
  • University Degree
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a quality department or in industrial environment
  • Autonomous, details oriented and excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think out of the box
  • Flexible and pragmatic
  • At ease with MS office, ERP and quality soft
  • Fluent in French with good knowledge (spoken and written) in English
