Responsibilities

For a client based in Zurich’s area we are looking for an:

Junior Automation Commissioning Consultant

As a Junior Automation Commissioning Consultant, you will participate to the automation deployment of complex systems (Mechatronic, Electrical and HW/SW).

Mission

  • You will participate on-site installation of complex automation equipment around logistics platforms.
  • Perform commissioning and troubleshooting on the systems.
  • Redact testing procedures.
  • Analyze the performance of the existing systems and make recommendations to improve operations.

Qualifications

Profile :

  • Software Automation Engineer or Technician degree.
  • Around 2 years’ experience in testing and commissioning activities.
  • Good knowledge of SIEMENS PLC (S7-1500) and TIA PORTAL.
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages (C/C++) LAN Ethernet, I/O management, Condition Monitoring, SCADA.
  • English mandatory, knowledge in German or Italian is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude while under pressure.
