The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, the ability to learn quickly, and a genuine interest in the banking industry.As a Junior Banking Application Team Member, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and maintenance of our banking applications. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the banking technology field and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.Job Description
  • Support internal users of core banking applications,
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to banking applications,
  • Assist in the development, testing, and implementation of banking applications and systems,
  • Collaborate with senior team members to solve more advances issues,
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and functionality,
  • Provide support in the analysis and documentation of business processes and workflows,
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of application development processes,
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation,
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units, to ensure successful application deployment and integration,
  • Proactively identify areas for process improvement and propose innovative solutions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or a confirmed experience in support and operations,
  • Programming skills in languages such as Python, bash, Java,
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices,
  • Quick learner with a strong curiosity and willingness to explore new technologies and frameworks,
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities,
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written,
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues at all levels,
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work,
  • Prior experience in banking or financial services is a plus.
