We are looking for you! Be the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the end users and support on all IT related topics of 1st and 2nd Level. In this position, you represent a key area in the organization’s ability to keep pace with the IT needs of Internal Users.

Junior IT Workplace Operator (gn)

contract: full time, start date: 1.1.2022, location: Wallisellen

The role:
  • Procure, prepare and handover the devices to the end-users
  • Ensuring end user satisfaction by providing best in-class customer services
  • Responsible for setup and maintenance of all IT related hardware available in the CH offices
  • Register and resolve all IT related 1st level/2nd level incidents and requests
  • Support the SoftwareONE business environment and contribute in projects as needed
  • User Access Management tasks in Active Directory (User Creation/Deletion/Modification).
  • Client Software Deployment via ENTEO Tool and Microsoft Endpoint Manager
  • Collection and documentation of best practice/processes and other technical processes
  • Escalation of unresolved or out of team scope tickets to the next level support.
  • Administer the client-computing environment together with the workplace team to ensure client devices are maintained in accordance with the SoftwareONE standards

What we need to see from you:
  • Good knowledge in Windows 10 and MS Office client technologies and a desire to stay up to date with the latest changes in Windows and integrated software technologies
  • Good Hardware Knowledge (Notebooks, Networks (LAN, WLAN), other end-user devices)
  • Hands-on experience on end user applications e.g. O365, MS Teams, Anti-Virus, OS/System troubleshooting
  • Knowhow of Asset management solutions (Snow, ServiceNow with Interfaces/APIs)
  • Highly self-motivated and results oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (German & English)
  • Willingness to travel: max. 20% in region CH (Offices Wallisellen, Stans) and 5% globally
