Job Purpose and Impact

The Junior Structurer will actively participate in exploring commercial opportunities alongside EU Origination team and Global RIG team. He/she must have the ability to understand the needs and wants of wider Cargill and TCM customers and provide them with financial solutions which deliver value to Cargill and the customers. Expected to work closely with Legal, Tax, Transaction Management, Risk, Cargill Business Groups as well as other TCM (trade & Capital Market) regions to deliver the financial solutions for our current and future commercial relationships and as such a successful candidate should have a mixture of Legal/Tax/Financial or other relevant experience or expertise and ability to apply it to commercial relationships and with commercial mindset. In addition to this, the role shall have the responsibility over the process of the reviewing and updating the internal cross-border funding structures in collaboration with Cargill Treasury colleagues. Key Accountabilities

Develop a comprehensive understanding of the assigned geography’s financial business landscape and the corresponding business risks.
Work on the periodic reviews of the existing cross-border funding structures by functional experts and Treasury colleagues.
Maintain the product portfolio aiming to streamline it, remove unnecessary uniqueness, complexity if any to ensure that the products work as smooth as possible.
Keep the products up to date by taking into account and implementing all the legislative changes and TCM best practices and lessons learned. If necessary given the complexity of some products, provide periodic support in resolving the various day-to-day matters that may arise in relation to some given transactions.
In partnership with Origination, structure products based on current and potential market opportunities in EU; come up with new product ideas or modifications to existing products to generate new business/gain competitive advantage, offer better value proposition and thus increase the returns for TCM.
Create (taking the necessary advice from the functional experts) the documentation templates that would allow TCM to implement the newly created ideas within the assigned geography.
Customer facing with banks, corporates and Cargill Business Groups in order to gain new business together with Origination or assist in discussing of financing solutions of various complexity offered to TCM customers or adapting existing solution to the customers’ needs/limitations etc.
Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience Minimum of two years of related work experience Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications Experience (of 3-5 years) in the finance, law, tax & audit or treasury or other areas related to the financing/funding transactions. Experience (of 3-5 years) in structuring and/or reviewing trade and structured finance transactions; Experience in working with/structuring/arranging trade and structured finance or other transactions covered by ECAs or trade credit insurers is a plus; Deal management/coordination, document drafting skills, English language. Risk analysis skills/experience is a plus. Commercial mindset and good communication and negotiation skills; Knowledge of / exposure to the EU financial / trade finance market (banks, corporates, financial lawyers etc.) Understanding of legal/ accounting, tax basic concepts, tax consequences of transactions/withholding taxes mechanics/application and VAT mechanics/application
