What you’re going to do

Developing existing clients, especially by identifying new opportunities in close exchange with your peers on the clients’ side, runs in your blood? Building and maintaining your personal network with clients as well as the regular exchange with them inspire and motivate you? So does collaboration with an interdisciplinary and professional team? Then this is the place for you. To expand our account management team, we are looking for an experienced and well-connected Key Account Manager (70-100%) for the Banking unit. In this role you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Maintaining and developing the network of project partners and decision-makers at your clients and/or accounts
  • Developing insights into the business, IT and financial objectives of assigned accounts, identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities – «making deals»
  • Strategic account planning – «what are the three problems of my client» – and implementation
  • Developing and maintaining own sales pipeline, leading and implementing the sales process up to the closing of the contract
  • Contact person for escalations with own clients in coordination with the other stakeholders
  • Elaborating sales stories, preparing offers and contracts
  • Monitoring client portfolios and reviewing monthly reports in collaboration with respective project managers
  • Monitoring and reporting of sales targets as well as presales and account management costs
  • Introducing and supporting project and service managers

What we’re looking for

  • Higher degree in (business) information technology, business administration, sales, marketing or in the finance industry
  • At least five years of experience in account management
  • Sound experience in IT service environment, preferably in application development and system integration for banks
  • In-depth knowledge in banking from a market and IT perspective
  • Broad network in the banking or bank-related environment
  • Proven negotiation skills, problem solving skills, strong communication skills, service- as well as client-oriented thinking and working style
  • Readiness for field service – German- and French-speaking Switzerland
  • Proactivity, ambition, independence as well as team player mentality
  • Excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken
