To strengthen our team located in Cham (ZG), Switzerland, we are seeking a Control Engineer e-Drive Unitto commenceimmediately or by agreement.

In this role you will join our Turbo e-BIke team in our innovation center, working directly on the performance and the ride-feeling of our future motor projects. You will ensure that our future motors continue to be the benchmark.

How You’ll Make a Difference
  • Evaluate the eDrive performance
    • Support and perform measurements on the bike and on the dyno
    • Analyze the data and compare it to the requirements
    • Support the debugging process
  • Develop an excellent and unique ride behavior by the control of the eDrive Unit
    • Analyze the key-ride scenarios and the expectations of our riders
    • Control the path from rider input until the control of the motor
    • Go out, ride and bring it beyond the expectations
  • Develop derating strategies
    • Analyze eDrive/System limitations
    • Develop derating strategies to stay within limitations
    • Test those derating strategies on the bike and dyno and provide maximum performance
What You Need To Win
  • Bachelor or Master of Science in Control Engineering or a related technical discipline (Master of Science is preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years’ work experience in the development of eDrive Units.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of a motor controller
  • Basic understanding of noise and vibration related issues as a plus
  • Experience with simulation and data-analytic tools such as Matlab/Simulink
  • Openness and willingness to customize and adapt approach for the bicycle industry
  • Ready to work in an innovative and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to solve issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English, German as a plus
  • Passion for cycling, ebikes, or outdoor active lifestyle
