Using a scalable B2B SaaS approach, we assist publishers and learning platforms in captivating students and optimizing learning outcomes on their digital learning platforms.

Taskbase, a rapidly growing ETH spinoff based in Zürich, is seeking a motivated full-stack software engineer to join our expanding international team.

As a full-stack software engineer, you will collaborate in an agile team to create, maintain and extend end-user learning applications.

Tasks

  • Write tested and well-structured production ready code across our stack (TypeScript, Kotlin, Python, MySQL, Redis, K8s, Gitlab CI) from front to back.
  • Collaborate on product design and development processes.
  • Transform product requirements into technical specifications ready for execution.
  • Take ownership of problems and solve them without supervision.
  • Provide in-depth analysis and evaluation of complex issues and suggest solutions.
Requirements

  • Bachelor in Computer Science (ETH, Uni, FH) or comparable education.
  • At least 2 years of working experience. Master studies count towards this.
  • You understand relational databases like MySQL and know how to work with them.
  • Knowledge about web frameworks, ideally experience with Dropwizard, FastAPI or Angular.
  • Understanding of container technologies like Docker.
  • You know how to work with cloud providers and their services. Ideally, you have experience with AWS (such as EC2, EKS, RDS, S3).
  • A collaborative mindset and understanding of agile methodologies.
  • Excellent English skills.
