Project Support Engineer - Full Time - Winterthur, Switzerland

Join our Technology Center within Flow Equipment Division in Winterthur to help us take Fluid Technology to the next level.

In this role you will be accountable for:
  • Supporting the sales and tender forces in the selection of special pumps, including pumps for multi-phase applications and compressible fluids
  • Assisting our global legal entities in the analysis of pumping systems
  • Preparing hydraulic data for the global pump tendering tools and maintain and develop tools and regulations for the tendering process
  • Providing a high level of technical and commercial application support to sales force to ensure proper selection and application of pump products
  • Proposing solutions for pumping station layouts
  • Providing support for RCFA and trouble shooting
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Educated to degree level (Bachelor, Master) in Mechanical Engineering
  • Good technical understanding of pumps and pump applications
  • Experience with hydraulic turbomachinery, pump selection and pump applications would be of advantage but is not mandatory
  • High degree of technical flair and innovative ability
  • Flexible and hands-on working style
  • Analytical mindset with a strong focus on quality
  • Team-oriented personality but also able to work independently
  • High integrity and openness to people with various backgrounds and culture
  • Excellent command of English, German is considered a plus
