You are an integral part of a dynamic and innovative Retail Training team, whose purpose is to create engaging learning experiences that support the development and growth of the commercial teams (Boutiques, Retail Partners, and Client Relations Center).

Reporting to the International Training Academy Manager, you will contribute to building a strong learning culture through the development of strategic programs, training, and tools, targeted at supporting the growth of both individuals and the business.

  • Develop phygital learning with a 360° blended approach and immersive learner-centric experience for all retail-related topics (brand & luxury culture, selling & clienteling skills, leadership).
  • Stay aware of new, innovative ways to train retail populations impactfully.
  • Structure and develop a diversity of learning materials, including videos, podcasts, in-class support material, quizzes, e-modules, and various other interesting elements for a successful knowledge transfer.
  • Assess frequency, criticality, difficulty and complexity of knowledge and skills to accommodate retail network learning styles.
  • Develop a project management plan to ensure timely completion of all development stages and final roll out of complex programs and learning developments, leveraging project management expertise; plan, prioritize and organize work to meet targets and launch dates.
  • Identify constraints that impact budget, schedule, translation, and resource requirements.
  • Set, track, and communicate goal progress for self and others.
  • Evaluate effectiveness, create consolidated reports related to various training sessions and learning objects, KPIs and follow performance measurement.
  • Ensure key training databases are kept up to date, leveraging market trainers’ local actions.
  • Ensure an end-to-end implementation, impact of training and competence matrix.
  • Drive results by designing into all programs a level of efficacy measurement (Kirkpatrick model).
  • Utilize strong interpersonal communication & social skills to build the training networks with cross-functional partners across the organization and in the group level.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and above in Education/Business Management/Communication/Marketing/Hospitality or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Training in retail, luxury market, or hospitality.
  • Proficiency with Learning Experience Platform (LXP) and Learning Management Systems (LMS) – Teach on Mars and Cornerstone.
  • Experience using development tools including Adobe Creative Applications (Photoshop, Movie Maker, e-modules content design software such as Articulate Rise or Storyline).
  • Strong, elevated written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical to targeted audience.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken), French and other languages as a plus.
  • Ability to effectively manage time, meet deadlines, and allocate and identify resources as needed.
  • Is resourceful and able to work independently as well as collaborate with others.
  • Demonstrate pro-activity & ongoing curiosity, to actively drive projects.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills & solution-driven mindset.
  • Knowledge of instructional theory, including assessment.
  • Excellent project management, organizational skills, and time management abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous deadlines.
