Legal Counsel (f/m)

Location Muri bei Bern, Steinhausen |60-80%


What we expect from you:

  • Interacting with various stakeholders of the organization including the Executive Board, Leadership Team, Division Leaders and fellow colleagues.
  • As our Legal Counsel, you have a strong background in legal disciplines like commercial, corporate and contractual laws combined with your ability to work independently. You define yourself as strategic thinker and you will roll up your sleeves to ensure tactical execution.
  • In close collaboration with the Meraxis CFO as well as the REHAU Group legal Department, you will resolve various requests based on your knowledge and experience, otherwise you know where to seek expert advice.
  • As part of the daily administration, you will be able to draft and/or review commercial and other company related contracts.
  • Another area of your expertise is how to support Mergers & Acquisitions from an NBO stage until closure and PMI. You are able to lead a due diligence process, if necessary with external support.
  • Risk & Compliance is a domain in which you are able to provide expertise and constructive oversight.

Your skills:

  • At least 5 years experience in a leading legal function of a global Swiss based company.
  • University Law degree is a must and ideally a higher educational degree in general business (university or business school / MBA).
  • Communicative, challenging, team oriented personality with a motivational character paired with a high level of social competencies and political savvy.
  • Must have strong verbal and written German and English communication skills. Same in French would be a plus.
  • International experience working for companies in the field of plastic industry, raw materials, SCM and / or an industrial corporate business would be a clear plus.
  • Truly hands on experience in resolving legal challenges in various disciplines and business areas.
  • Affinity to digitization of businesses and its legal aspects.
