In this newly created role, as the Maintenance and Methods Manager you will contribute to an organisational and cultural change in our Vernier site. You will manage a team of specialist of warehouse, spare parts and vendor’s processes to ensure the highest customer satisfaction in the organisation. You will initiate improvements in processes, data quality, use of EAM system, maintenance strategies, reporting to monitor SLA performance. You will work closely with Engineering and Maintenance teams to identify where improvement is needed and will coach the other departments to use the available best practices and tooling. You will be located in Vernier and reporting to the Site Engineering and Maintenance Manager.

You will:

  • Manage and motivate a team of maintenance and methods specialists
  • Establish policies and processes for maintenance
  • Ensure that the corporate processes and best practices for maintenance are implemented in a consistency manner to global requirements
  • Support Engineering and Maintenance to ensure consistent Long-term Asset Plan process and define content for the assets not managed by them
  • Lead continuous improvement to support delivering the adequate level of performance
  • Support Engineering and Maintenance with reporting, quality data to meet SLA targets, especially for reliability analysis and action log
  • Manage quality and data, including data management process for spares
  • Be in charge of warehouse management
  • Ensure Engineering and Maintenance get the adequate dashboard and data to manage performance
  • Ensure the adequate sourcing and level of outsourced contracts, manage contracts to ensure optimum added value from suppliers, become a real partner with purchasing department
  • Develop training plan consistent with technical needs (multi-kills, process knowledge, legal requirements)
  • Initiate improvement project to ensure efficient maintenance processes to achieve excellent customer satisfaction

You?

  • University or College degree
  • 8+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment, plant management, maintenance, production or relevant field
  • 5+ years’ proven track record of leading, motivating teams
  • Ability to drive changes in the organisation and motivate people to adapt to the new
  • Experience in project management and initiating improvements
  • Create a positive and partnering atmosphere with the business to ensure customer satisfaction
