Maintenance Specialist

Job content

• As the responsible operator, you will oversee the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of various trades and facilities.
• Your focus will be on ensuring the smooth functioning of critical systems such as chemical and process gas supply, ultrapure water supply, wastewater treatment systems, and cooling system water treatment.
• In addition, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, fault correction, and implementing continuous improvement measures.
• You will be expected to record and execute maintenance activities and manage spare parts using specialized software.
• Your responsibilities will also include cross-trade activities for the entire infrastructure, as well as maintaining and managing internal and external plant logistics, procurement, exchange, and disposal of chemicals and gases.
• You will need to ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with specifications and regulations, and you will be responsible for operating and handling various critical systems, including the building management system, fire alarm system, safety equipment, gas detection, and SI management.
• Additionally, you will be responsible for recording and interpreting operating conditions, consumption, and measurement data, maintaining associated documentation, and working closely with production and external contractors.
• You will also be expected to participate in the planning, installation, and commissioning of new supply equipment or infrastructure systems.
• Finally, you will be responsible for providing key figures on costs, projects, maintenance, and budget in your area of responsibility, as well as being on-call and a member of the emergency response team.

• You have a solid technical foundation, with further education as a maintenance specialist. Ideally, you have experience in the chemical, electrical, mechanical, or process engineering fields, as well as knowledge of measurement, control, and automation technology.
• You have experience with computerized maintenance management systems and are proficient in MS Office.
• You also have a good understanding of safety, environmental, and health protection laws, regulations, and guidelines.
