Ultimately, by delivering our smoke-free and beyond nicotine future.Your ‘day to day’As a Manager Case Management Operations, you will supervise and lead the case management operations team and all associated activities and processes related to case management operations for the Reduced Risk Products (RRPs).More specifically, you’ll
  • Strategically Supervise all Case Management Business Operations activities for RRPs.
  • Lead development and implementation of policies and procedures originating from the departmental objectives and effectively communicate those to the case processing vendor and other internally.
  • Interact daily with the safety database manager, the vendor leading the LSMV system and the case processing vendor to ensure smooth operation of day to day workflow activities.
  • Ensure productivity of the teams by measuring overall efficiency and effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative metrics.
  • Oversee compliance of all case management metrics of PMI and case management vendor.
  • Lead the cross functional Safety Governance Meetings
  • Translate strategy into operational endpoints by implementing processes, policies and procedures to maintain compliance with global regulations.
  • Assist in audit readiness plans to ensure the highest state of preparedness.
  • Proactively identify key issues and impacted teams to facilitate resolution of issues under analysis.
  • Collaborate, deliver and implement timely responses to identified issues.
  • Ensure that Direct Reports adhere to departmental, R&D and global single case reporting requirements.
  • Provide candid feedback and create an environment that fosters developmental opportunities to enhance and retain talent in the organization.
Who we’re looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) in Life Science, Nursing, Regulatory Affairs or Pharmacy preferred.
  • Substantial experience in case management activities such as but not limited to, processing adverse event reports, designing processes to ensure compliance with domestic and international safety reporting requirements and using databases to support safety/ pharmacovigilance activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex information gathered from a variety of sources and, through effective decision-making and planning, deliver superior business solutions.
  • Good expertise to quantitatively forecasting present and future resource demand and using resources across functions to achieve objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to a diverse audience, at multiple levels within the company, through various formats, i.e. presentations, written proposals, reports, correspondence, leading meetings and direct dialogue.
  • Sound intellectual capability and commitment, enabling a high degree of adaptability in dealing with an ambiguous and complex work environment.
  • Experience in working with a range of technically and culturally diverse people, influencing them to accomplish common goal.
  • Knowledge of safety databases (e.g. ArisG and/or Argus, preferably ArisG LSMV).
  • Knowledge of Tobacco Act is a plus.
  • Ability to express technical concepts in a non-technical manner.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
