Manager Digital Commerce

eCommerce has grown significantly at Sonova over the past few years and has become a strategic sales channel. We seek an experienced, highly motivated Manager, to further develop our Digital Commerce solutions and make online ordering the preferred option for all customers.
This role is an opportunity to lead the team on its continued journey, maintaining Sonova brands as references for excellence in this domain. Please be ready to innovate and be ambitious.


Your tasks

  • Leading the eCommerce IT team (5-8 employees), providing vision and guidance for eCommerce for all Sonova brands, in alignment with business goals
  • Contribution to the definition of the company’s eBusiness strategy, and deliver its IT components
  • Cross-collaboration with other parts of the eBusiness IT team (digital marketing, eSolutions), and support the build-up and operation of company web sites and eSolutions
  • Coordination with CIT teams (SAP, Salesforce, IT Ops) in order to architect and build future proof eCommerce solutions
  • Liaise with Marketing and R&D counterparts, to align strategic objectives, prioritize projects and define timelines
  • Manage, plan and execute eCommerce projects

Your profile

  • University Degree in Information Technology or related field/experience
  • Minimum 8+ years of work experience in eCommerce with a focus on B2B commerce
  • Several years of experience in leading a team as well as extensive project management experience
  • Ability to interact with senior management, managers of other teams and departments and software developers
  • Comprehensive programming skills using Java and knowledge of other web oriented technologies
  • Excellent English skills both written and spoken, any other language is an asset
