Job Description


Exciting opportunity at Experian for a Managing Director (all genders) to lead our Swiss operations, expand our sales team, and drive revenue growth while actively influencing the delivery of new solutions for the Swiss market. In this key position, you will be responsible for the Swiss market and sales organization of Experian, the world market leader for information services and decision and workflow software. In this dynamic and engaging sales-driven role as Managing Director (all genders), you will be actively involved in overseeing customer relationships and amplifying sales performance. You will collaborate closely with the parent company’s management to achieve shared objectives and maintain a strong professional presence with customers, partners, and suppliers. Your exceptional leadership, communication, and business acumen will be key to achieving company goals and nurturing stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities include

  • Developing and executing a robust operations and support framework that aligns with the company’s vision, propels growth, and meets revenue targets. As a skilled leader with a keen business sense, you will work seamlessly with the parent company’s management and direct the operations and support teams towards desired outcomes.
  • Expanding and refining the sales team and processes, leveraging your extensive sales expertise, management experience, and comprehensive knowledge of the Swiss market. You will be accountable for designing and executing a sales strategy that fosters revenue growth, cultivates customer connections, and attains market share goals.
  • Playing a pivotal role in the ongoing development and practical application of the company’s strategy, partnering closely with the parent company’s management and local team members. Your strategic insight, analytical prowess, and business acumen will be critical in aligning the company’s strategic objectives with market opportunities and challenges.
  • Actively shaping the introduction of innovative solutions for the Swiss market by identifying market needs, devising business cases, and working alongside the parent company’s management. Your capacity to forge relationships, persuade stakeholders, and stimulate innovation will be crucial in successfully launching new solutions tailored to the Swiss market.

Qualifications
  • As a proactive Managing Director (all genders) in an active sales role, you have a history of success in marketing technical products and solutions within B2B sales, particularly to clients within the financial sector. You lead by example, possessing extensive knowledge of the industry, a well-established network in the financial realm, and a track record of surpassing sales goals.
  • With a wealth of management experience, ideally within international matrix organizations, you excel in strategic planning, financial management, and talent development. Your ability to inspire and motivate your team by actively participating in sales initiatives and demonstrating your sales acumen sets you apart from others.
  • Your analytical and entrepreneurial thinking skills enable you to dissect complex data, uncovering trends and opportunities that will propel business growth. As a proactive and decisive decision-maker, you immerse yourself in the sales process, setting an example for your team.
  • Your exceptional communication and presentation skills in both German and English, with French as a bonus, make you an asset. Swiss citizenship or a B/C residence permit is required, and you are willing to travel within the DACH region, engaging with clients and working collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Your proficiency in Microsoft 365, Salesforce, and other standard business applications, combined with a solid grasp of digital technologies, allows you to enhance business performance effectively while taking an active role in the sales process.
  • As a charismatic, inspiring, and persuasive leader with a knack for negotiation, you excel at managing complex stakeholder relationships and take a direct approach in driving sales. Your ability to foster business growth through strategic collaboration, personal involvement, and partnerships sets you apart.
