As a Market Data Contract Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and negotiating market data contracts with various vendors and exchanges. Your expertise and attention to detail will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective procurement of market data services, while also ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience, with a strong background in market data.Responsibilities
  • Negotiate and manage market data contracts with vendors and exchanges, ensuring favorable terms and conditions while optimizing costs.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of market data requirements, assess business needs, and provide recommendations on appropriate market data products and services.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including trading, risk, product and technology teams, to identify and address market data needs and challenges.
  • Monitor and track market data usage, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and licensing agreements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with market data vendors and exchanges, fostering effective communication and partnership.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, specifically in market data contract management.
  • Proven experience negotiating and managing market data contracts with vendors and exchanges.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements related to market data usage.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex market data requirements and technical solutions.
