Tasks
  • Ensuring material quality for all raw materials
  • Claim management towards suppliers
  • Auditing of suppliers
  • Creation and update of technical delivery instructions (TDI)
  • Lead and execute R&D and improvement projects to optimize material quality and cost baseline with the help of Six Sigma, 8D, and other methods
  • Support SCM department regarding supplier selection and development
Requirements
  • Master’s degree in physics, electrical engineering, material science or similar
  • Sound knowledge of problem-solving methods (e.g. Automotive Core Tools) and quality engineering (PPAP, 8D)
  • Experience of leading technical projects with engineers, technicians, and suppliers
  • Supplier audit experience (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3), certification is a plus
  • Ability to travel world-wide (ca. 10%)
  • Ability to work within an international environment in a matrix organization, complemented by well-developed communication skills
  • Innovation and quality-oriented team player with a high willingness to learn
  • Good command of German and English, both written and spoken (Level B2/C1)
