Our offer

The Global Industry Team in Zürich is looking for a qualified and passionate Mechanical Design Engineer supporting one of our clients in the German speaking part of Switzerland. If you have experience in defence area and have used CATIA V5 you might be the candidate we are looking for.

Your role
  • Establish repair design and validation substantiation requirements for technical dialog or engineering authorizations relating to repairs and alterations
  • Stress analysis for repairs on aircrafts
  • Communication with the shopfloor and the Maintenance Team
  • Support repair disposition and reviews
  • Provide suggestions to continuously improve our repair design process
  • Support the customer in the resolution of field supportability issues
Your profile
  • University degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • 5 years of industry experience
  • Previous working experience with CATIA V5
  • Experienced in design metallic and composite light weigh structures
  • Know-how in repairs of aircraft metallic and composite structures
  • Familiar with aeronautical field and with repairs on fighter jets is a plus
  • Fluent in English, good knowledge of German is a plus
  • Start will be in January 2022
