FPT Motorenforschung AG in Arbon has around 250 highly qualified employees

working with commitment and acknowledged success. As the main innovation center for

FPT Industrial, the site is involved in developing future powertrain solutions (not only in

electrified powertrains, hybrids and fuel cells, but also novel engines concepts and

alternative fuels) and is therefore at the forefront of a transition towards a future of

alternative propulsion systems.

We would like to fill the following position with an internal candidate as soon as possible:

Mechanical Development Engineer

Your tasks

• Planning and execution of release tests for different components in cooperation
  

with the product engineering and design group in the headquarters in Turin

• Supervision of endurance tests in the test bench and their evaluation, including
  

writing reports

• Optimization of engine components functionality in cooperation with suppliers
• Support for the responsible engine platforms in the development of new engine
  

competencies, FMEA and risk assessment

• Participation in innovative and alternative drive units
  

Your profile

• University / engineering school degree in mechanical engineering
• A good understanding of system and component interactions for ICE and/ or at
  

any other power train solution

• Expertise in powertrain solutions for Automotive Applications, On/Off road
  

vehicles from design to manufacturing

• Previous experience of testing for ICE or alternative powertrain solutions

• Innovative thinking and proactivity in looking for the best solution
• Good English and German skills (spoken and written), Italian skills would be an
  

asset

• You are a highly motivated self-starter and team-player with very good
  

presentation and communication skills
