We Elevate... Your Responsibilities

Schindler’s New Technologies department drives innovation in the elevator and escalator business. To support our team in fast prototyping of new mechatronic elevator components and systems we are looking for an open minded and creative mechatronic engineer.

Your new challenge will include:

• Fast prototyping of new mechatronic elevator components and systems
• Identification of challenges, idea and concept creation, choice of actuators, control of actuators (e.g. PID), integration of actuators in mechanical systems
• System modelling and calculations (forces, kinematics)
• Evaluation of the performance of actuators in the test environment
• Guiding mechatronic innovation projects with partner companies
• Planning and execution of innovation projects in an agile way

Are you a teamplayer with an innovative and agile mindset? Do you think and act like an entrepreneur and have a strong analytic and systematic thinking? If you also bring these further qualifications, this new challenge might be for you:

• You have a Bachelor or Master Degree or PhD in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• You bring first experiences in mechatronic engineering
• You can cooperate in an international environment
• You have PC Skills in Matlab / Simulink / Python or similar, CAD PTC CREO is an asset
• You are fluent in English, other language skills are a plus
