To strengthen our Turbo e-Bike team in Cham (ZG), Switzerland, we are seeking an experienced Noise, Vibration & Harshness Engineer to commence immediately or by agreement.In this role you will work directly on the Drive Unit projects. You will ensure that our Drive Units are the benchmark regarding noise, vibration and harshness and deliver the absolute best cycling experience to Specialized riders around the world.How You Will Make a Difference
  • Define NVH criteria
    • Identify NVH criteria for sound quality within a bike environment.
    • Assess the Specialized and competitor bikes within this sound quality metric.
  • Support development of new Drive Unit Projects
    • Translate the defined NVH criteria to system requirements.
    • Identify NVH critical modes on system level.
    • Derive design requirements on component level as motor, transmission, housing and frame.
    • Perform and analyze measurements of development projects and products in the field.
    • Identify root causes of NVH issues and support the solution finding process.
    • Work closely with our suppliers to ensure a consistent noise quality.
What You Need To Win
  • Master’s degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ work experience in the simulation and analysis of noise, vibration and harshness.
  • Experience with NVH-testing and data evaluation.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of Drive Units.
  • Understanding the electro-magnetic design of electric machines.
  • Openness and willingness to customize and adapt approach for the bicycle industry. Ready to work in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to solve issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English, German as a plus.
  • Passion for cycling, e-bikes, or outdoor active lifestyle.
