In order to support the deployment of the global safety strategy and the global safety roadmap, this internship mandate will contribute to accelerate the implementation of digital safety solutions, enhance company data analysis capabilities and strengthen safety competencies.

A day in the life of an Operations Safety Intern
  • Familiarize and help with the organization and processes for the launch of new safety projects
  • Safety reporting (development of safety reports and provision of data assurance)
  • Support global safety engagement initiatives (newsletters, virtual meetings/events, campaigns…)
  • Develop safety training to build skills and capabilities on specific safety hazards and respond to incidents
  • Assisting in pilot digital safety solutions as part of Operations Digital Strategy

What Will Make You Successful
  • Ongoing Education in physical sciences (physics, chemistry or engineering and/or behavioural social sciences, occupational Safety or related field.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Basic knowledge for conducting risk assessments, drafting guidance based on the risk assessments and communicating the guidance to the appropriate stakeholders
  • A good knowledge of the hazards associated with machinery, confined spaces, working at heights, driving, electrical safety or material handling.
  • Solid communication skills both written and spoken to explain technical details with clarity, confidence and understanding.
  • Willingness and ability to learn fast and courage to explore unknown areas
