We collaborate with the world for the health of everyone in it.The Manager Operations Support Optical Inspection (OI) will support Manufacturing Operations Processes and Projects and lead the short, mid, and long-term remediation plan execution to sustainably stabilize operations. You will work hand in hand with the department lead to shape processes enabling proactive identification and resolution of problems, drive effective operations, and coordinate, structure and prioritize the OI project portfolio in alignment with cross-functional partners. You will lead a team of professionals to support the OI operations team with day to day tasks and process improvements.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the remediation plan execution for Optical Inspection processes to ensure stabile operations and reliable, high quality supply in close collaboration with the department lead.
  • Manage the portfolio of projects for OI, prioritizing in alignment with current and future business needs
  • Lead and develop the operations support team to drive operational excellence and seamless support of manufacturing
  • Be a key driver in establishing a culture of continuous improvement and lean methodologies including visual management and standard work to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Define and implement critical and relevant metrics, performance management processes, and structured problem solving to enable transparency and effective decision making for manufacturing
  • Collaborate and align closely with partners in Quality Assurance, MSAT, Engineering, Planning, and Business Excellence
Job Qualifications
  • BA/BS in Business (MA/MBA preferred), Supply Chain, Engineering, Life Sciences or related.
  • 6+years experience in pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Planning, Quality, Business Excellence or a related field.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with team, peers, business partners and customers.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and influencing teams to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Hands on leader and fast learner with a track record of delivering under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience leading and developing a team is preferred.
  • Proven experience in implementing lean methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives preferred.
