Payments & Cash Specialist (Temporary 9-month contract)

Overview of contract:

On behalf of our client, a large bank in Lugano, we are looking for a Payments & Cash Specialist to join an international team.



This is a 9-month contract with possibility of extension, and start date is ASAP.



Main responsibilities:

We’re looking for a Payments & Cash Specialist to:

  • Handle global cash movements in all currencies and bank products
  • Manage large payments, monitoring flows across systems within the firm
  • Support the teams, ensuring timeliness execution of the payment flows
  • Process paper and/or electronic standardized and/or non-standardized payment orders or checks as well as cash according to the rules and regulations of the booking centre.



TheTeam:

As a payments specialist, you will become part of an experienced Payments Investigations Team in Lugano. They ensure timely and correct execution of payment orders and cash management related services.



Yourexpertise:

  • Commercial education or equivalent
  • No previous financial industry experience required
  • Fluent in Italian, basic skills in German and English; every other language would be an advantage
  • Strong focus on quality, accuracy and timely delivery
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
