Location: Remote / full-time or part-time (min 15-20h/week)

We are looking for a People and Community Manager to work across all teams in our growth hacking agency with headquarters in Zurich. Your focus will be to unlock the team’s engagement to drive performance of individuals to strengthen our culture and contribute to the company’s growth.

You will not only act on feedback, but also think creatively to identify new opportunities to improve the wellbeing of everyone in the company. You will bring people closer together despite the physical distance and you need to be able to observe, communicate and work closely with people. Our aim is to build a community consisting of the existing, potential and former team members.

Tasks
  • Management and configuration of our performance management software tool (reviews, 121s, feedback framework) - incl. team communication & documentation
  • Team member onboarding to ensure happiness and smooth start for new joiners
  • Staff wellbeing initiatives (existing + new ones e.g. pilates, personal finance, nutritionist)
  • Communication with all team members (e.g. announcements, anniversaries, celebrations, lunch & learn organisation etc.)
  • Documentation and contribution to the policies and new standards
  • Organisation of Zurich visits, team offsite events
  • Organisation of virtual team events
  • Happiness survey
  • Using own initiative to identify improvements and opportunities
Requirements
  • Effective communication style, active listening & empathy
  • 3+ years of remote work experience
  • Content creation (writing, video content creation e.g. short tutorials)
  • Human first attitude (as opposed to task oriented)
  • Able to deliver fast
  • Creativity and problem solving
You are an ideal candidate if:
  • Recruitment / interviewing skills and experience (strong understanding of the recruitment & onboarding process)
  • HR experience - drafting contracts, dealing with sensitive information & data
  • Experience leading a team, working in customer service or hospitality will be considered a plus if candidate has no HR or recruitment experience
