Are You the team member we are looking for?

Unit8 is looking for a senior, commercially focused executive to join its leadership team. This person will be responsible for driving growth in the Pharma & Chemicals sector of activities, including the acquisition of new clients and nurturing existing ones. The purpose of the role is to bring an existing C-level network and deep skillset in the sector, a high level of credibility with senior client management and sector thought leadership combined with tech acumen in the space of analytics. The role will report to the CEO.

What You’ll Do

As a Pharma Practice Lead you’ll be faced with the following challenges within a high-growth, fast-moving company:

• Actively define and execute Unit8’s go-to-market with a focus in Pharma & Chemicals sector
• Actively position Unit8 offering to the DACH customers to win new customers and projects (quota carrying)
• Orchestrate the work of Unit8’s practice to define the offering, strategy and lead the execution
• Contribute to broader business development by preparing and participating in industry conferences, communities, workshops and events
• Consult our existing and new clients on their data-related challenges and needs

Who You Are

• Strong business development and consulting skills with experience in advising clients on data-based topics such asanalytics, machine learning, data platforms and cloud
• Strong network amongst senior leaders in the sector in the DACH region
• Meaningful time spent in consulting or as an entrepreneur
• Proven track record acquiring new accounts amongst market leaders in the sector
• Proven track record of overlooking successful projects in the sector (ideally linked to tech & analytics)
• Self-driven can-do attitude, fast learner, ready to face challenges as they arise, entrepreneurial self-starter
• Great communicator, natural relationship builder, dynamic and motivated to represent Unit8 externally
• Fluent in English and German. French is a plus
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time (mostly Switzerland and the DACH region)
• Holding a Swiss passport or a valid EU/EFTA work permit
