Planning Analyst

18 Months Fix Term Contract

Position Overview

The Planning Analyst role is providing support for the impact assessment of product lifecycle change projects within the Supply Chain. The role ensures strong alignment with end-to-end partners and drives process improvements. It supports the Lifecycle Manager in the operational process of implementing product variants and ensures seamless supply chain execution.

Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Perform Supply Chain impact assessment of product lifecycle change projects
  • Coordinate with project teams and cross-functionally to ensure full data availability / visibility
  • Responsible for Demand Planning input, system set-up and cutover plan for Supply Network Planning
  • Support the project teams through the product variant implementation process
  • Support process enhancements of the end-to-end variant process in collaboration with affected departments
  • Monitor and manage the impact of license expiry on end-to-end supply chain planning activity
  • Train users and stakeholders on Variant processes and systems

Qualifications

Education Requirements:
  • Higher technical or business education or equivalent further education in supply chain management like APICS certification

Experience
  • At least 2-4 years professional work experience in supply chain area
  • Sound understanding of supply chain principles
  • Strong MS office skills & good understanding of ERP systems (SAP)
  • Sound understanding of complex end to end processes
  • Strong communication in English (spoken and written), German / French is a benefit
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Regulatory and compliance knowledge is preferred

  • Ability for cross-departmental thinking and collaborative work in teams
  • Ability to work independently in a structured and determined way. Managing priorities and providing reliable results.
  • Ability to network with interfaces and build strong collaborative teams and relationship
