CoE’s ensure that product information is reliable, complete, and accessible for all ERIKS employees that need this information. CoE’s also have a process in place to ensure that suppliers and products are consistently meeting our quality standards. The CoE is a virtual, international working team that is not tied to one ERIKS location or Country Business Unit. A CoE consists of a Product Quality Engineer, a Data & Digital Specialist and is led by a European Product ManagerFor our CoE Industrial Hoses we are looking for a Product Quality Engineer.As a Product Quality Engineer you are responsible for monitoring the product quality of our product portfolio for the various countries where ERIKS is present. Next to this you’ll be involved in executing the CoE strategy with specific attention for embedding quality management within the supply chain.Responsibilities:
  • Translating quality requirements of different markets and industries into the assortment management of the product group Industrial Hoses.
  • Setting up and maintaining a product quality framework and coordinate product quality assurance for the product group.
  • Monitoring the product quality control process of own brand and non-brand products, including products produced in-house by ERIKS.
  • Identifying quality expectations for MRO and OEM customers (certificates, standards in pharma, food, and other industries).
  • Monitoring the quality performance per product and support other countries in investigating and solving structural (potential) quality issues.
  • Auditing and (dis)qualifying new and existing suppliers, but also imposing comparable standards for ERIKS’ in-house own brand production as well as auditing / monitoring compliance with these.
  • You represent ERIKS in standards committees
Your profile:
  • Bachelor / Master degree, preferably within engineering, chemistry or related.
  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience within a relevant technical work environment and a good understanding of the MRO and/or OEM markets.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and preferably in Dutch, French or German.
  • Structured work approach.
