To support our team of engineers within our business unit Grid Integration, we are looking for a new Product Specialist Charging for electro-mobility applications in Geneva or Turgi. Your Responsibilities
  • Support the Center of Competence eMobility to ensure the product sustainability, adequacy and manufacturing needs, including lifecycle, product development, technical specifications, tendering support for sales, sourcing and relevant quality & safety standards
  • Product development & Product Lifecycle
  • Owner of the engineering and product design changes in the early stage of the projects out of R&D and up to warranty and service. Leads problem solving coming from field quality issues. Facilitate the re-use of existing solutions and minimize number of variants, own & maintain variant configuration logic
  • Manage lifecycle of product components (obsolescence acc. to IEC 62402) . Develop and maintain engineering, service and customer documentation.
  • Translate customer demand into product requirements. Prioritize product related activities in coordination with the global product managers, application engineers and R&D.
  • Track and keep a detailed understanding of the product cost per production facility and drive improvements
  • Define and ensure product compliance with international standards, from design to manufacturing. Implement “safety by design” strategy

Your background
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Significant competences in drives and automation : protection & controls, PLC software, substations
  • English, French and German languages are considered as an asset
