Project Coordinator Event Services EMEA
The is a medically guided, not-for-profit organization led by an international group of surgeons specialized in the treatment of trauma and disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Founded in 1958 by 13 visionary surgeons, the AO fosters one of the most extensive networks of over 215,000 surgeons, operating room personnel, and scientists in over 100 countries.
The AO organizes more than 830 educational events, conferences, governance and other meetings around the world each year. For our newly established Global Event Services we are looking for a highly-motivated person to support our team in Davos, Switzerlandas
Project Coordinator Event Services (100%)
In this role you support the planning, organization, execution, and monitoring of all events within the AO Foundation, which includes:
  • Operational and administrative support of all events in scope
  • Faculty and Participant administration for all AO educational events
  • Coordination between main partners and other stakeholders
  • Follow up and reporting on events held for final reconciliation
  • Ensure adherence to compliance requirements throughout the entire process
In order to master this challenge, you have
  • At least three years of practical experience in a similar position
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to drive multiple tasks in parallel, results driven
  • High customer and team orientation
  • Working experience within an international (healthcare/medical/life science) environment is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal English communications skills; basic level of German preferable
