Job Description:
Role :
Lead cross-functional projects and shutdowns in due time, in line with defined standards: People, Safety, Quality, Delivery & Cost, in a dry form pharmaceutical factory.
Main responsibilities:
  • Build the detailed shutdown schedule of all maintenance activities and engineering projects with all stakeholders involved, define co-activities in the different area and manage impact analyses on technical, EHS and quality aspects
  • Prepare initial project scope, budget, resource needs, economic evaluation and timeline definitions
  • Ensure that projects meet the quality requirements
  • Organize and facilitate meetings with stakeholders to choose resources allocation with technical and economic constraints
  • Lead and coach project teams.
  • Supervise and coordinate the works and tasks assigned of all internal and external actors
  • Control project proceedings, planning execution, and budget respect
  • Ensure project changes are managed and validated by the appropriate governance bodies
  • Select and lead external support to be involved in the project (Engineering companies, suppliers, builders, consultants, etc.)
  • Design, transfer and implement new equipment / updated equipment related to all operational activities in accordance to user and cGMPs requirements
  • Manage change, commissioning (FAT, SAT), installation, qualification, operational requirements as well as time and cost requirements
  • Ensure proper hand-over to internal customers including training and support during start-up
  • Put in place adequate KPI to ensure efficient shutdowns and the success of projects
  • Propose continuous optimizations
Required Experience & Competences :
  • Degree in Project management or Engineering
  • At least 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry with demonstrated project execution experience or team management, depending on the project
  • Process & Equipment Qualification experience
  • Good knowledge in planning and risk management tools
  • Adapted communication according to the audience
  • Good Influencing, conflict and stress management skills
  • Good command in English and fluent in French
  • Good knowledge in technical project management, maintenance, or engineering in the pharmaceutical industry
