Power plant production combined with energy trading (“asset backed trading") is in the middle of a fascinating transformation process, driven by international trends and current energy challenges. This requires new IT solutions to cope with the increased complexity, speed and volume of information data.

The role is ideal for a talented project manager who likes to combine technical know-how with business understanding and enjoys to take on a wide range of responsibilities such as business analysis, subject matter expertise and hands-on actions next to project management tasks.

Project Manager / Business Analyst (f/m/d)

What you will do
  • Manage complex IT projects and perform business analysis in the context of energy trading and production with focus of Swiss hydro plant optimization and short term power trading
  • Get the “big picture" including end to end understanding of the processes and propose pragmatic steps towards acceleration, automation and digitalization
  • Manage scope, budget, resources, timelines of projects and chair steering committees
  • Support the strategic development of the IT solutions in this domain in close collaboration with the business stakeholders and IT team members
  • Manage software vendors (offers, contracts, quality controls)
What you bring & who you are
  • You have at least 3-5 years of work experience as a project manager and/or business analyst
  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, engineering, economics or equivalent
  • You have working experience in the energy sector, trading and/or change/transformation process
  • You are a team player with strong communication skills
  • You are a quick learner with analytical thinking
  • You are fluent in German and English

You will be part of a very dedicated team, taking responsibility for critical IT applications short-term (operations) and long-term (projects). We collaborate very closely with business stakeholders, IT architects, infrastructure specialists, and vendors in order to get the most business value out of our IT systems.
