Together, we’re working at the pace of change to improve patient lives with diagnostic tools that address the world’s biggest health challenges.The Field Application Specialist Western Switzerland (Romandie) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics you will be in charge of Beckman Coulter Diagnostic´s application support for clinical chemistry (CC), immunochemistry (IC) and Hematology (Hemat). You will work closely with sales and support staff to provide high-level customer support before, during, and after a sale.This position is part of our Commercial Organisation in Switzerland and will be a Field-Based Role. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.You will be a part of the Sales Department and responsible to support the growth and expansion within assigned accounts and/or territory/region on product and report to the Commercial Manager in Switzerland. If you thrive in an amazing, multifunctional role and want to work in sa performance oriented Sales Organization—read on.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:- Assess potential application of in vitro diagnostics products (specifically CC/IC and Hemat solutions) to meet customer needs pre and/or post-sales and prepare detailed product specifications.
- Provide Biochemical (CC/IC & Hemat) application support across multiple customer sites
- Coordinate with sales team on pre-sales activities, ranging from product demonstrations, on-site customer needs evaluations, and support in configuring solution offers
- Serve as a scientific advisor for customer inquiries in Hemat and CC/IC
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems and serve as a liaison with internal customer support teams as needed
- Provide customer training and support and maintain positive customer relations
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the natural sciences, preferably in the life sciences
- 3 years of demonstrable experience in application support within a diagnostic or laboratory environment
- Language skills: French (C2), English (C1) and German (B2)
- A driven and highly motivated team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire a winning attitude in colleagues by example.
- The position is home-based and will require approximately up to 70% travel (3-4 days per week)
- Background (academic or by vocational) in immunology ore related field in life science
- Experience presenting with high impact complex topics to an audience
- Evaluer l’application potentielle des produits de diagnostic in vitro (spécifiquement les solutions CC/IC et Hemat) pour répondre aux besoins des clients avant et/ou après la vente et préparer les spécifications détaillées des produits.
- Fournir un soutien aux applications biochimiques (CC/IC et Hemat) sur plusieurs sites clients.
- Coordonner avec l’équipe de vente les activités de prévente, allant des démonstrations de produits aux évaluations des besoins des clients sur site, en passant par le soutien à la configuration des offres de solutions.
- Servir de conseiller scientifique pour les questions des clients sur Hemat et CC/IC.
- Dépanner et diagnostiquer les problèmes techniques et servir de liaison avec les équipes internes de soutien aux clients, si nécessaire.
- Assurer la formation et le soutien des clients et maintenir des relations positives avec eux.
- Baccalauréat ou équivalent en sciences naturelles, de préférence en sciences de la vie.
- 3 ans d’expérience démontrable dans le domaine de l’assistance aux applications dans un environnement de diagnostic ou de laboratoire.
- Compétences linguistiques : Français (C2), anglais (C1) et allemand (B2)
- Vous êtes un joueur d’équipe motivé, doté d’excellentes aptitudes à la communication et capable d’inspirer une attitude gagnante à vos collègues par l’exemple.
- Le poste est basé à domicile et nécessite environ 70% de déplacements (3-4 jours par semaine).
- Formation (universitaire ou par expérience professionnelle) en immunologie ou dans un domaine connexe des sciences de la vie.
- Expérience de la présentation de sujets complexes à fort impact devant un public.
