Are you an experienced Scala Developer? Are you eager to create something new? We are looking just for you! Our current project is with a longstanding banking client of EPAM. The goal is to make an elegant new solution for archiving! Currently there are several different approaches for it, and we are looking for someone to find the one, best possible solution! If this sounds like you, this could be the perfect opportunity to join EPAM.

What You’ll Do

  • Scala, Functional Programming
  • Designing
  • Implementation
  • Bug Fixing
  • Testing
  • Work in a Scrum environment

What You Have

  • Scala
  • Akka Streams, Akka Http
  • ScalaTest, Mockito
  • Kafka (nice to have)
  • Liquibase, Slick, PostreSQL
  • Gradle
  • Gatling
  • TeamCity, Git, GitLab
  • Language skills: English min B2
  • Very good Communication skills
  • Nice to have experience with test driven development and continuous integration and deployment
