Senior Marketing Programs Specialist

What you will do

This is an exciting opportunity to join Johnson Controls global marketing team. The Senior Specialist, Marketing Programs Johnson Controls is an important global role reporting to the Manager of Marketing Programs, working closely with cross-functional teams and business unit marketing leaders. Delivering the glue and helping to drive the Johnson Controls marketing transformation and ensuring alignment with our enterprise strategy.

How you will do it

• Managing the Global Marketing Community portal including development, updates and driving continuous evolution
• Managing the development and execution of key global marketing initiatives, including community news, best practice sharing and recognition programs, marketing events, and community support programs
• Providing project management to ensure a consistent planning process for executing strategic goals, meeting deadlines and driving timely accomplishment of tasks
• Supporting content creation for quarterly Global Marketing Community virtual calls
• Creating content for global marketing communication and digital channels and managing distribution
• Liaison with key stakeholders across Marketing, Brand, IT, L&D, PMO
• Supporting the Manager of Marketing Programs with program tasks as required
• Providing support on Teams Live Events as required
• Help defining marketing processes
  

What we look for

Required

• Minimum of 5 years’ international experience in marketing, communications or project management
• Expert knowledge with MS Office 365 Apps, SharePoint, Teams Live Events, PowerPoint
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the ability to lead projects proactively
• Flexible, dynamic, and engaging, with strong interpersonal skills
• A team player with the ability to forge new partnerships that bridge people and organizations
• An eye for visual design and creativity in developing programs and methods for engaging an audience toward the success of a goal
• Relationship-building skills with business leaders, the community, and the target audience of employees, clients, or others
• Organization, including the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
• Confident with technology with a passion for learning new skills and sharing ways to work smarter
• Able to work independently
• Able to see the big picture as well as the small details
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communications skills

Preferred

• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Web Analytics, Poppulo, Adobe Premier Pro
• Experience collaborating in a matrix environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related curriculum
