To Complete Our Team, We Are Looking For aTeacher of IB Computer Science (4 periods) and Pre-IB Mathematics (12 periods)

Part-time – 16 Periods

Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering engaging, challenging and fully inclusive Computer Science lessons to Secondary School students as part of the IB Diploma.
  • Understand and have experience teaching computer programming (Java would be preferable).
  • Be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering engaging, challenging and fully inclusive mathematics lessons to Secondary School students as part of the school’s ULP curriculum.
Candidate Requirements
  • An ICT or mathematics related degree and teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Computer Science to students in the 16-19 age group and mathematics in the 12-16 age group
  • English, fluent speaker – a working knowledge of French is an advantage
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
  • Enthusiasm and creativity with a passion for teaching and learning and a drive to achieve the highest possible standards for all students
  • A caring, sensitive attitude towards students: an outstanding and inspirational teacher
  • Excellent communication skills with colleagues and parents
