Your Profile:

  • Successful MSc or PhD degree in mechanical engineering or similar engineering sciences
  • "Hands-on" mentality, good understanding of measurement technology as well as initiative and creativity
  • Experience with rapid prototyping techniques and CAD is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills and enjoying coordinating and collaborating in multiple smaller projects at the same time

What are the specific tasks?

As a project manager, I am responsible for the development of new products during all development phases - from the first prototypes to the product ready for sale. To make this happen, I work closely with colleagues from other R&D teams, product management and purchasing. Depending on the project phase, I spend my time either in the lab to characterize and qualify the sensors, in production to play an active role in process development, or in exchange with my project team, to discuss requirements for future products

What are the daily challenges?

When developing a new product, I always encounter the unexpected. Conceptual thinking and commitment are necessary to find creative solutions at times. Since I accompany the product throughout the development cycle, my challenges change accordingly. At Sensirion, I benefit from the knowledge and experience as well as from the helpfulness of my colleagues.
