Your mission

As owner of the recruitment process, you will drive various recruitment phases in collaboration with our managers and our HRBPs to attract and hire talents for our organization. You will also be in charge of the administrative management of work contracts and work permits.

Your responsibilities
  • Ensure the smooth running of the recruitment process from the job description to the administration of employment contract for all vacant positions within the organization
  • Leverage existing talent acquisition channels and explore new opportunities
  • Proceed with active sourcing through social media and other channels
  • Proceed with all administrative tasks related to the recruitment process (ad writing and publication, answers to candidates, reference checks, etc..)
  • Submit the relevant applications to the technical leader
  • Organize and conduct the first interview focused on the candidate’s personality along with the CSEM presentation
  • Ensure excellent candidate experience throughout the entire process
  • Develop partnerships with external service providers and negotiate collaboration contracts
  • Maintain and develop partnerships with academic partners as well as participate in various recruitment events
  • Participate in employer branding initiatives and recruitment related projects
  • Ensure a fair HR approach, while respecting regulations and laws as well as corporate values
  • In addition to contract management, you also take part to the administration of work permits

This position is based in Neuchâtel and will require occasional business trips to our regional centers whenever required.

Your profile

Know-how
  • Commercial background (CFC, Maturité or equivalent), ideally with a specialization in recruitment or HR
  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in a similar function, in an international and fast paced environment
  • Experience with competency-based interviews and other assessment methods
  • Comfortable with HR administrative tasks management
  • Fluency in French and English (knowledge in German would be a plus), with good writing skills in both languages
  • Ease with social media (a certification in this field would be an asset)
  • Proficiency with MS Office

Your mission

As an intern in the Sample Handling and Sensing group, you will support all activities in the Life Science Technologies area with a focus on microfluidics, sample handling, and lab automation for in-vitro diagnostics, Organ-on-a-Chip, and regenerative medicine applications. Examples of current and past projects include OrganTrans (organoids, robotics, and microfluidics), Moore4Medical (microfluidics and biosensing), and BioCDx (diagnostics and microfluidics). Within the strategic goals of the group, you will contribute to the development of disruptive technologies. The work will be primarily engineering, but in close collaboration with biologists, chemists, and physicists (may involve travel to other CSEM sites).

We are looking for an intern to support us in:
  • Implementation, testing, and biovalidation of prototype systems, specifically with regards to design, fabrication, testing, image acquisition, and sample handling.
  • Design, fabrication / prototyping, and assembly of prototype systems
  • Performing of validation experiments for prototype systems
  • Analysis of resultant data and preparation of presentations summarizing the results

Your profile

Know-how
  • Strong background in a life science-related field (e.g. engineering, physics, biology, chemistry)
  • Wet lab experience
  • Experience with fluidics and / or cell handling systems
  • Rapid prototyping (e.g. 3D printing, micromilling, hot embossing), CAD (e.g. SolidWorks)
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong English-speaking skills required, German and / or French-speaking skills a plus
