About Our Client

As part of its launch on the Swiss market, we are looking to recruit for its real estate division an Acquisition Manager (m/f/d).

Job Description

  • Research, analysis, proactive processing of the real estate market in Switzerland
  • Identification and acquisition of potential Action stores
  • Inspection, pre-selection and presentation of potential locations
  • Negotiation until the signature is ready with external contractual partners regarding rental agreements and technical conditions (logistics, construction)
  • Monitoring the organisation’s needs and requirements in terms of logistics, store operations, legal and construction and implementation from search to final negotiation
  • Communication and coordination with the internal Legal, Store Design, Support and Construction departments
  • Initiation, maintenance and expansion of contacts with multiple relevant external parties (e.g. lessors, property managers, project developers, other retailers, authorities)
The Successful Applicant

  • University degree level, preferably in real estate, law, finance, marketing, economics or business
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in retail and real estate in Switzerland
  • Strong hands-on mentality and high acquisition strength
  • Existing network in the Swiss real estate market
  • Sound language skills in both written and spoken German and English
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external parties
  • Sound knowledge of tenancy law
  • Proven experience in negotiating Lease contracts, and contract management
  • A high level of organisational skills, structured working methods and commitment
