The SaaS Client Engagement Manager is responsible for planning and coordinating implementation and transformation activities associated with Varian’s SaaS portfolio. This includes the Noona Symptom Management platform and early deployments of ARIA Systemic Treatment Management and Gen2 Analytics.

Within Varian, the SaaS Client Engagement Manager will work closely with other members of the broader Varian Client Services Engagement teams, the Global Services team for Varian’s SaaS portfolio, and the Product Management and Engineering teams (who design and build products in the SaaS portfolio.)

Role Responsibilities
  • Work closely with customer leadership, clinical, and administrative teams to construct and gain buy-in for an engagement plan that aligns with objectives of the project.
  • Direct execution of the engagement plan, including alignment of cross-functional resources at Varian and client locations.
  • Identifies and resolves unanticipated complexities as they occur that can impact timelines and budget
  • Orchestrate involvement of cross-functional groups in delivery of the engagement in a way that creates a fully integrated, efficient client experience.
  • Collaborates with other Varian teams (eg. Education team for ARIA RO) in support of a consistent, world-class customer experience.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in technical discipline such as Engineering or Healthcare-related field
  • Demonstrated world-class engagement management and client-facing skills and experience delivering against aggressive timeline and scope objectives.
  • A background in a clinical setting is a strong plus, as this role requires strong credibility with clinical users and an intimate understanding for how the platform helps the clinical process in oncology.
  • Extremely organized and able to work well in a fast-paced, ever-changing, collaborative environment.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and writing skills. The role will require creation of well-written engagements plans and as-needed PowerPoint slides to address specific customer concerns through the engagement .
  • Passion for customer delight as shown through drive, initiative, focus, and tenacity to get results.
  • Strong track record of cross-functional teaming (working closely with training teams, interface analysts, platform operations team, sales, and solution architects to deliver results).
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Experience with SaaS platforms and healthcare inter-operability standards such as HL7 and FHIR are a plus.
  • Familiarity with Varian products, especially ARIA, is also a plus.
  • Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Project, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Monday.com
